Like any father, Geovanny Peralta did not hesitate to risk his life to defend his daughter, who was attacked by a criminal. Unfortunately, the father of the family was shot by a robber and died instantly .

Peralta was on Mexico Street, near the Ejército Ecuatoriano school, in the San Camilo parish , when criminals violently attacked his daughter, who was a few meters from him. The man ran after a subject who got out of a truck and this action cost him his life .

After the crime, the antisocials fled the scene, leaving a trail of anxiety, pain, anguish and despair at the crime of a family man who only sought to protect his offspring.

Security videos captured the heinous crime, a crime that was perpetrated after 9:30 p.m. on Sunday , March 26.

This fact has caused a commotion not only in the inhabitants of the San Camil parish but also in the entire Quevedo canton , since the fear of leaving is latent in the face of the criminal wave that has come to stay.
