Sérgio Rodrigues da Costa, aka Sérgio Bomba, a leader of the Sepetiba militia, West Zone of Rio de Janeiro, was shot dead. He was accompanied by an uninjured woman.

The Sepetiba militia was divided a month ago after one of the men appointed as successor to militia member Luís Antônio da Silva Braga, Zinho, was shot dead in the Três Pontes community, in Paciência.

Antônio Carlos dos Santos Pinto, known as Pit, was one of those responsible for taking care of the financial part of the criminal organization, called Bonde do Zinho. He and his son were killed in December last year.
