SAN ANTONIO — The unarmed man who was fatally shot by police on Sept. 18 was not the person officers were looking for but nevertheless threatened to shoot the officer involved, according to a video released Wednesday by the San Antonio Police Department.

The narrated video shows footage from two officers’ body-worn cameras captured during their deadly encounter with 29-year-old Alejandro Vitela at about 8:50 a.m. in the 3200 block of West Martin Street.
