On the afternoon of Friday, August 14, a vehicle crashed into several commercial premises on the main boulevard of Ciudad Quetzal, causing the death of a woman, reported the Municipal Departmental Firefighters .

Members of the Municipal Departmental Firefighters from the Ciudad Quetzal station provided pre-hospital care to four injured people and subsequently transferred them to the emergency room of Roosevelt Hospital.

Also at the scene, a woman was found dead from multiple traumas, so they proceeded to notify the corresponding authorities.

Surveillance cameras in the area captured the moment the driver lost control and ran over two people walking in the area, also hitting a woman who was in a commercial establishment, and finally reaching an elderly woman, who was hit by the vehicle.
