The San Francisco Police Department has released body camera footage of an officer-involved shooting of a man carrying a crossbow, the San Francisco Chronicle reported.

A 911 caller reported that a man was walking around carrying an AK-47, according to the report. Officers responded and saw that the man had a crossbow, not a gun.

Video shows officers giving repeated instructions to drop the weapon. They also fired two bean bag rounds as the suspect began to raise both arms. After the suspect ignored multiple commands, an officer fired a gunshot.

The man fell to the ground. He was taken to a hospital with minor injuries sustained from the beanbag rounds, according to the report. He was not injured by the gunshot.

Officers recovered the crossbow, which was loaded with a 15-inch bolt, according to the report.
