A60-year-old resident of Nza Ozubulu in the Ekwusigo Local Government Area of Anambra State identified only as Mr. Kenneth has reportedly been tortured to death by operatives of local vigilantes hired by his younger brother.

An activist, Harrison Gwamnishu, made this known in a post he made on X on Thursday with the video of where the sexagenarian’s hands were tied behind him and repeatedly beaten with cutlass and sticks by his killers who took turns to beat him.

According to Gwamnishu, Mr. Kenneth was said to have sold a water tank in his family house and used the money to solve family issues.

However, not being comfortable with Mr. Kenneth’s action, his younger brother called for operatives of the local vigilante group who arrested the elderly man and tortured him for hours, and during the process, he died.
