When beachgoers saw a great white shark stranded on a shore in Cape Cod, they didn't run away — instead, they helped rescue it.

A bystander's video shows people pouring buckets of water on the 7-foot shark, which apparently beached itself while trying to catch a seagull.

Experts arrived at the scene, tied a rope to the sharks fin and towed it out to sea. It was then tagged before being released.
