A 38-year-old man was shot dead late Wednesday morning (31) in Apucarana (PR) , on Rua Rafael Sorpile, in the area known as Chacrinha, near the Dom Romeu Alberti Housing Complex. He was identified as Elias Saldanha de Souza.

Witnesses also revealed that, minutes before, he had gone to visit his mother. After leaving her house, he went to the property where he was found dead to carry out some work. The man was building a chicken coop in the back of the house.

According to the reporting team, the victim had been receiving death threats.
