A 50-year-old motorcycle taxi driver was killed on Rua Almirante Ingran, in Brás de Pina, in the North Zone of Rio, on the morning of this Tuesday (10).Firefighters from Parada de Lucas were called to the scene at 8:51 am, but found the victim, identified as Carlos André Albuquerque, already alive.In protest, people set fire to tires, papers and trash. The demonstration took place near the Brás de Pina station. Train circulation was not affected.According to the Military Police, agents from the Olaria battalion were called to a call with a victim of a gunshot.According to witnesses, occupants of an unidentified car shot at the motorcyclist, who died at the scene.The case was forwarded to the Capital Homicide Division. According to the PM, policing was reinforced in the region.
