In October, telecom technician José Ricardo da Silva, 38, had a bad day. And an even worse night two days later.

José had schizophrenia, and broke out a car window during one of his freakouts. He chose the wrong car. In Brazil. Not good.

Two days later, the owner of the car and his friend tried to run José over as he crossed the street. José scurried to curb safety like a New York City rat.

On a second approach from the other direction, the car escaped José's vertical cat-like reflexes, and flipped over. Say what you want about him being touched in the head, but I dig José.

Embarrassed, the duo escaped their clown car, chased José, shot him, and beat him to death as he lay on the ground. Poor José. My dude. My bro. My hero. My cat.

Today police booked two schmucks on aggravated murder. Neither has a criminal history. They claim that they were just trying to scare José. Whatever you say.
