A collision between a motorcycle and a pickup truck resulted in the death of one person and left two others injured in the city of Eldorado do Carajás. The accident occurred in the early hours of this Saturday morning (16/12), on the corner of Escola Francilândia, on Avenida São Geraldo.

The crash was between a Honda Pop motorcycle and a Toyota Hilux pickup truck.

There were three women on the motorcycle. With the impact of the collision, the three were thrown several meters onto a sidewalk.

One of the victims identified as Gerlane Nascimento da Silva, aged 31, died at the scene.

The other two were taken to the Eldorado Municipal Hospital.

Fearing for his life, the truck driver fled the scene.

The Civil Police were at the scene and are investigating the causes of the accident.
