In the afternoon of June 30, 2021, in Lipetsk, Russia, there was a head-on collision which killed a couple people.

A Renault truck driver was heading down a road along the Matyr dam and reservoir when a Chevrolet Aveo decided to overtake a Kamaz truck. It was not a smart idea. The Chevy Aveo collided with the Renault truck head-on, sending it spinning towards the Kamaz truck, where it crashed again until everything came to a complete stop. The Renault truck had lost control at this point, and fell into the water. Upon impact between the Chevrolet Aveo and the Kamaz truck, a person was thrown from the vehicle, thru the fence gate, and into the water.

As a result, the driver and passenger in the Chevrolet Aveo were dead upon arrival, whereas each of the truck drivers were injured but not gravely.
