An elderly man died after being hit by a car in Araraquara..

The accident happened on Tuesday afternoon (19), when a woman, from 30 years, parked the vehicle Chevrolet/ Classic LS on Avenida Alagoas. The owner got out of the car and forgot to put the handbrake on.

The vehicle ended up going down the runaway road and ran over 85-year-old Sebastião Celli, who was sitting in a chair on the sidewalk in front of his residence.

The owner of the vehicle triggered the Mobile Emergency Service (SAMU), who provided first aid to the victim.

The elderly was referred to the Santa Casa with an exposed fracture in one of the lower limbs, but did not resist the injuries and died in the hospital.

The Military Police was triggered and registered the case in police report, isolating the area for the work of forensics.

The Civil Police station was informed and took the other appropriate measures.
