A man was shot to death after a violent attack that took place on the afternoon of this Monday, August 1, on the 4th street of the citadel October 9, in the south of Guayaquil.

A few meters from a relative's house, the victim died inside a car that ended up on a sidewalk, with traces of the projectiles on the windows and bodywork on both sides.

Upon arrival, the police units cordoned off several meters around, both on 4th Street and on Sixth Avenue in that neighborhood.

There, personnel from the institution confirmed the death of the man, about 39 years old, who was hit by the projectiles, despite the special protection that the car had.
