A 32-year-old man was stabbed to death on the morning of Tuesday, May 6, after an argument with his neighbor in the Canaã neighborhood of Maceió, the capital of Alagoas. The conflict began during a conversation on the street and ended in tragedy.According to information from the Civil Police, the victim was talking to a transgender woman when the neighbor, aged 33, approached him and asked about the victim's vehicle, which was allegedly parked illegally. The argument quickly escalated, and the victim stabbed the neighbor with a knife, injuring his hands and head.After being attacked, the man returned to his home, grabbed a knife and returned to the scene of the argument. He then stabbed the victim, who succumbed to his injuries and died at the scene.The perpetrator sought treatment at the Emergency Care Unit (UPA) in Chã de Bebedouro and was then transferred to the General State Hospital, where he remains under the custody of the Military Police. The Civil Police are awaiting medical clearance to take the suspect's statement and formalize the arrest report. The case remains under investigation.
