Two women were found dead in Rocinha, in the South Zone of Rio de Janeiro , early this Thursday (29). The bodies were in a house between the towns known as Raiz and Camisa Suja. According to the police, the two young women had an argument and one would have killed the other and then killed herself. Family members contest the version.The victims are Stephany Paiva, aged 19, and Francisca Analice Mendes, aged 20. One body was found in bed and another in the bathroom of the property. Both had stab marks.The Civil Police carried out an on-site investigation. The case is investigated by the Capital Homicide Police Station (DHC).The two young women were childhood friends. According to the family, Analice was married and had lived in Rocinha for a year. She was born in Ceará and worked in a coffee shop in a mall in the South Zone of Rio.Stephany arrived in Rio de Janeiro two weeks ago to live in the community with an aunt. The bodies were found in the house where she was living.The Military Police were called around 4 am, but only managed to arrive at the scene around 8 am, because the area where the young women's bodies were found has a large circulation of criminals.
