On the night of Thursday, 4.17.25, a serious traffic accident was recorded on BR-101, near the Santa Clara interchange, in the region between Itabuna and Buerarema, in the south of Bahia. The collision involved a motorcycle and a Chevrolet Celta model vehicle. The motorcyclist, identified as Marcelo Souza Ferreira, 49, suffered serious injuries and lost a lot of blood. He did not resist his injuries and died at the scene of the accident. The circumstances that led to the accident have not yet been clarified. Traffic authorities were on site to carry out the necessary procedures and investigate the causes of what happened. Marcelo's body was removed to the Forensic Medical Institute (IML) after the forensic examination.
