A security camera recorded the moment when Rubem Dário Gonçalves, 56, was attacked at the Mussurunga bus station, in Salvador, last Tuesday night (15). The man died after being punched in the face, falling and hitting his head on the ground.

At the time, according to the Civil Police, preliminary information was that the victim was assaulted by a man, with whom he had argued moments before. The suspect has not yet been found.

According to a report by TV Bahia and Portal G1 Bahia, Through the images it is possible to notice that the victim was talking to a salesperson who works at the station. Suddenly, a man, who approached running, touched Rubem Dário on the shoulder and soon began the aggression.

Station security ran to catch up with the suspect, but he managed to get away. The other witnesses tried to help the victim. Rubem Gonçalves was rescued by the Mobile Emergency Care Service (Samu) and taken to the Emergency Care Unit (UPA) of São Cristóvão, but he did not resist.

The case is investigated by the Department of Homicide and Personal Protection (DHPP). (G1 Bahia and TV Bahia).
