Security camera footage shows an elderly man being run over and killed in Barreiros, Zona da Mata Sul de Pernambuco, on the night of last Sunday (15).

A car enters high speed in the street and, ungoverned, hits a man walking near the sidewalk.

The Pernambuco Civil Police confirmed in a statement that the victim was a 65-year-old man.

"A police inquiry was launched to ascertain the circumstances of the accident," the PCPE said.
