A husband and wife separated just a week ago. They continued to meet.

The ex-wife returned to their home to retrieve some belongings, and found her ex with another woman. She began stabbing the man, and in so doing, stabbed the other woman.

She was arrested on scene. She claimed self-defense, that her ex threw water on her, and that she would only “leave when she was sure that the victim was dead."

Geovanna Victoria Moreira da Silva, 24, died of stab wounds on scene. The man, 29, is in hospital.

Stabby is charged with suspicion of murder and attempted murder.
