Climate and anti-capitalist activists blocked a road leading into Burning Man on Sunday, the annual event's opening day, creating miles of gridlock and clashes with motorists, tribal residents and tribal Rangers belonging to the Pyramid Lake Paiute Tribal Police Department.

All protesters were arrested and charged with trespassing on tribal land.
