On an island in Indonesia, a country where a large part of the population has dark hair and eyes, there is a tribe in which several of its members stand out for their exceptionally blue eyes and a particularly deep glow due to a rare genetic condition. The peculiar attributes were recorded in a series of publications by photographer Korchnoi Pasaribu. Korchnoi visited the island of Buton and managed to photograph the faces of some inhabitants in the middle of nature with his traditional dress. Focusing above all on his impressive blue eyes that highlight the color of his skin.
