BALTIMORE (WBFF) — An exotic dancer turned bank robber is wanted in a crime spree across the Baltimore region, the U.S. Marshals Service confirmed.Kyresha Anderson, 26, has multiple warrants for her arrest.Investigators said Anderson and an accomplice robbed banks in Baltimore City, Baltimore County and Anne Arundel County in April 2021. Anderson was arrested April 19, 2021, after investigators say she and a man robbed an M&T Bank in Brooklyn, Anne Arundel County."The two individuals would walk into the bank and pass a note letting the individuals know that it was a bank robbery,” said Tony Gause, senior inspector with the U.S. Marshals Service.According to court documents, the note read: “Give me everything. No alarms. No dye packs. No tracking. Everything, or I shoot.”“The note let them know that they had a gun and would shoot at any given notice,” Gause said. “It told the individuals not to be a hero and give us everything you have.”Investigators said the teller complied, and Anderson and her accomplice fled the bank with cash. Court documents detail the suspects crashed their getaway car, and both were taken into custody.Records show a judge released Anderson on her own recognizance, meaning a promise to show up for her future court date. However, three months later, Anderson failed to appear and a warrant was issued for her arrest.Meanwhile, U.S. Marshals Service confirmed investigators in Baltimore City were able to connect Anderson to other bank robberies.Records show Anderson is facing charges in an April 12, 2021 robbery at TD Bank in southeast Baltimore’s Canton neighborhood, an April 13, 2021 robbery at First National Bank in Dundalk and an April 15, 2021 robbery at a Capital One Bank in northwest Baltimore.Anderson has been on the run for nearly a year. Investigators believe her line of work is helping her elude capture."Ms. Anderson does have a job as an exotic dancer,” Gause said. “Here in Baltimore, it's known to be on the Block, as well as some underground parties and underground locations. With that lifestyle, she’s known to frequent between Miami and up to New York and anywhere in between. She could be anywhere."The U.S. Marshals Service said Anderson is known to change her hair color and style.A $2,500 reward is being offered for information leading to Anderson’s whereabouts.Tips can be reported anonymously to the U.S. Marshals Service tip line: 1-877-WANTED-2 (1-877-926-8332) or submit an anonymous tip online at www.usmarshals.gov/tips.
