Man Quite Literally Dying For A Drink
Well, the note below the video does not make any medical sense. Most likely the tube is connected to his stomach. There is no big difference if you pour alcohol down your throat or via a tube into your stomach ... you fill it into your stomach both ways. Alcohol is always absorbed directly into the bloodstream ... you can only fasten it up if you inject it into your bloodstream. Or if you bypass the liver ... e.g. applying it rectally! The 'direct' absorption usually starts in your mouth. The body's ability to vomit is not bypassed either. If large amounts of alcohol hit the brain it can trigger you to vomit ... alternatively it often is purely physical ... if you drown large amounts of e.g. beer it comes back out of your mouth as your stomach simply is not able to hold it down. But ... thanks for the clip!
