Student crushed to death by malfunctioned elevator
If you pay attention he didn't mean to step into the elevator, he tripped on it as it started to rise and he had to place his foot forward to keep from falling.
After he gets his balance you can see he's about to step back out of it, but he failed to follow through in time (probably a bit of shock).
To be fair when it started going up he should have gone back into the hallway not step into it.

No, and all the people that voted up on your comment don't get it either. The elevator is supposed to have a safety mechanism on it --- meaning if someone is in the door frame, the door doesn't shut , it might shut softly, but , the car absolutely doesn't move, no if ands or buts. Obviously not an elevator designed by Otis or Dover
Definitely one for slow motion mode.
That's just too fucked up to believe. I only see these types of accidents in Asian countries. Or maybe they are the only ones that happen to be videoed
Was that some kind of shock seizure he had before it was lights out for him? Looks like he suffered from some kind of slow asphyxiation
